I indulged my inner archeologist and spent the majority of the last two years researching the latest tomes on the subject. I found the ancient writings to be positively fascinating - certainly worth of being made into a block set! Our Egyptian hieroglyphic blocks are only an introduction. The set contains the single-consonant “phonograms” or alphabet, multi-consonant phonograms, ideograms, determinants and numbers. A guide booklet is included as an introduction to some basic concepts about reading heiroglyphs and we’ve even included an embossed hieroglyph puzzle. 28 - 44mm cubes. Ages 8+
